Diwali Dark Dank Delight

Is it pleasure? Is it pain?
Is it all that I can lose? Is it just what I can gain?

Is it the bed? Is it the glimpse of dreams?
Is it the grip of moist palms? Is it the whisper of screams?

Is it the endless talks? Is it the quiet walks?
Is it the shores of sea? Is it a bed of rocks?

Is it my identity? Is it my solitude?
Is it the hint of arrogance? Is it a mix of gratitude?

Is it some stroke of luck? Is it the dance of destiny?
Is it an inherited life? Is it a self-built epiphany?

Is it me? Is it you?
Is it just me? Is it just you?

Adios !

yet, with all the data n theories kung foo fighting in the sulcii of my grey matter,i read this one--details!!
excellently written[like all others],,and a bit of humour there with the ironic details just completed the package.
d poem?im still pondering over it!
d experience?
--seems the beginning of a new romance..d blogs will keep bringing me back..

So true. i am in awe of the way you write. Genuinely simple, yet immense, soul gazing!! The way you penned down the sounds of the cocophonic events in mumbai in words was visually comprehendible. What happened was really sad. The poem consummates the post terrifically.
